Welcome to Academics at Canyon Rim Academy!
Hello Canyon Rim families! I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing community as CRA's Academic Director. I started my teaching career here at Canyon Rim in 2007 and truly believe that this is environment is one in which students and faculty alike can thrive.
My education includes a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, K-6 Teaching License from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. I am also a K-12 certified Reading Specialist. I am committed to providing a nurturing learning environment for students, and believe that open communication with both faculty and families is the key to success.
I have lived all over the country, but feel truly lucky to call Utah my home. Together with my daughter, I enjoy traveling, skiing, camping, and simply taking advantage of all the state has to offer.
